THE PRODUCT
T-Microcement is a polymer-modified cement finish, applied 2–3 mm thin, over your existing walls, floors, bathrooms, or furniture.
We sell the material. You or your contractor apply it. We’re not an applicator service, though we’re happy to talk through unusual cases before you order.
3-layer system
The system is three separate products. Most projects order all three.
| Layer | What it does |
|---|---|
| T-Microcement Primer | Bonds the system to whatever you’re coating (concrete, plaster, tile, plywood). The right primer is what lets the cement go directly over existing substrates without demolition. |
| T-Microcement Base | The look layer. Trowelled by hand in two thin passes. Available as a wall mix (smoother, no aggregate) or a floor mix (sand-loaded, rougher, tougher under traffic). |
| T-Microcement Sealer | A breathable silicone-based topcoat. Locks in water resistance without sealing the surface hermetically. There’s a reason for that (below). |
What’s in it
A dozen components, organised in roughly four families:
- The binder. A white-cement base, polymer-modified for elasticity so it handles normal building movement without cracking.
- The mineral matrix. Fine fillers and a clay-derived pozzolan that densify the cured film and stabilise the cement chemistry.
- The surface chemistry. Mineral pigments for the stock colours, sunlight-reflecting minerals that keep the surface cool-touch in direct sun, and slow-release minerals that inhibit mould long-term.
- Workability. Rheology and set-time admixtures so the mix trowels smoothly on vertical surfaces, stays workable in 30 °C ambient, and doesn’t sag.
Everything except the polymer is mineral. The system is 100% UV stable: it doesn’t yellow or fade like resin-based “microcements” (some of which are really coloured epoxy with sand).
Where it works
- Walls. Accent walls, full rooms, indoor or covered outdoor.
- Floors. Residential and light commercial. 3 mm thin, no thresholds, no level changes.
- Bathrooms. Walls, floors, shower areas. Waterproof with the sealer applied correctly.
- Furniture & cabinetry. Built-ins, vanities, custom pieces.
- Countertops & tables. See the sealer note below.
The sealer is breathable on purpose
Most microcements seal the surface hermetically with an acrylic or epoxy topcoat. Ours uses a silicone-based topcoat applied breathable. Two reasons:
- The antimicrobial minerals need to keep working. They migrate to the surface as the system ages. A hermetic seal would lock them inside, and the long-term mould resistance would go away.
- It keeps the natural-stone feel. Epoxy-sealed surfaces have a slight plastic quality; the breathable sealer leaves cement feeling like cement.
The trade-off: the surface is waterproof but not fully stain-proof. Coffee, red wine, or cooking oil sitting on a flat horizontal surface can leave a mark. Easy to deal with on a floor (sand it out, re-seal), worth thinking about for counters or tables.
For counters or kitchen tables that need to be properly impervious to stains, plan on a two-part epoxy topcoat over our sealer. We don’t supply the epoxy; any quality counter epoxy works.
Repair-friendly
One thing typical microcements are bad at is patch repair. Once a system has been on the wall for a year, blending in a new patch is notoriously hard. Ours isn’t, because the look is recoatable:
- Stain or surface mark → sandpaper it back, apply a thin re-seal.
- Scratch or chip → trowel a thin layer over the area, blend the edges, re-seal. The new layer bonds chemically to the old.
- Whole-room refresh after a few years → light sand, re-seal, looks new.
A small leftover bucket and a sanding sponge cover most of what you’ll need. We recommend holding back a bucket from every order.
Pricing
Sold separately, with the base in two stock colours (pearl, silver). End-customer prices and coverage:
| Code | Product | Packaging | Coverage | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TM-PR-01 | T-Microcement Primer | 1 L bottle | ~12 m² | 100,000 IDR |
| TM-BW-01 | T-Microcement Base, wall mix, pearl | 5 kg bucket | ~3 m² | 800,000 IDR |
| TM-BW-02 | T-Microcement Base, wall mix, silver | 5 kg bucket | ~3 m² | 800,000 IDR |
| TM-BF-01 | T-Microcement Base, floor mix, pearl | 7 kg bucket | ~3 m² | 850,000 IDR |
| TM-BF-02 | T-Microcement Base, floor mix, silver | 7 kg bucket | ~3 m² | 850,000 IDR |
| TM-SE-01 | T-Microcement Sealer | 1 L bottle | ~6 m² | 200,000 IDR |
The base bucket contains a powder and a liquid component. You add clean water on site to mix them; the water isn’t included.
Coverage depends heavily on substrate texture and trowel technique; the figures above are starting estimates. The know-how page has a worked example for a typical bathroom.

Attractive pricing for early adopters
The product is young: one detailed reference project, a year of daily use, no lab certificate yet. We’re keeping pricing intentionally friendly for the first wave of customers. Talk to us about your project and we’ll work something out.
On durability
We don’t have formal laboratory testing or certified performance values to quote.
What we can tell you, from a year of daily use on the project:
- Abrasion. Handles daily foot traffic in residential use, with the sealer doing its job.
- Impact. Polymer-modified, so it has some give. Still a thin cementitious layer; don’t drop a hammer on it.
- Water. The mineral matrix is dense; the sealer is what makes the system fully waterproof. Don’t skip the sealer.
- Biology. No mould, no growth in indoor tropical conditions over the year we’ve tracked.
- UV. No yellowing, no fading. Mineral system through and through.
- Adhesion. Strong, no delamination, as long as the substrate is properly prepared.
Because it’s a thin-layer system, the substrate underneath matters as much as the coating itself. A weak or moving surface telegraphs through. Site prep isn’t optional.
A durable, high-quality microcement system for residential applications, with real-world performance you can see in the gallery. Not a certified industrial product. For commercial or high-stress applications, contact us with the specifics so we can evaluate per project.
